Snapshot of the target Community
A renowned technology provider was looking to understand more about the right people to market their upcoming products to and who had the power to influence their target audience.
Community: Deep Dive
We were interested in uncovering the different segments the community that would inform future marketing approaches whilst analysing product affinity.
Insights we found
A few insights...
- Buying Mindset: As early adopters, this audience proved to be more likely to be influenced by product utility and Brand name than the average person. Therefore, it would be important to create ads that emphasised product benefits whilst being endorsed by reputable brands.
- Sponsorships: In order to reach this audience offline working with companies such as Tech-Crunch, Mashable or Wired to promote both their brand and products would see the best results.
Influenceurs
We learnt that the two big influencers for this segment were Chris Sacca (Venture Investor) and Elon Musk (CEO of Tesla) along with the infamous Jack Dorsey (founder of Twitter).
